THQ Nordic somehow pushed the 'go live' button early making This Is the Police 2 available now on GOG and Steam with currently 10% off. It seems a whole lot better than the first which was already pretty good. It adds tactical combat in the Fargo-esque city and keeps a good voice cast. Console versions will launch later this Fall. A new trailer of the cold thriller painting This Is the Police 2 to put you in the mood of Sharpwood, the desolate and violent place where players will have to make a living as the new Sheriff. The noir adventure-strategy-management-tactical combat game is releasing on August 2 for PC/Mac/Linux and later this Fall on PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
While Jack Boyd was mostly confined to bureaucracy in the first game, the new and young sheriff of Sharpwood Lilly Reed will bring a new approach in the Fargo-esque game with certain missions that will switch to a turn-based combat mode system. Bringing more variety, these dangerous situations will also task players to study the terrain, use non-lethal equipment and more. This Is the Police 2 will release later this year.
A sequel to the noir drama game that mixes adventure, strategy and management genre have been announced by THQ Nordic and Weappy Studio. This Is the Police 2 welcomes you to Sharpwood which by the looks of it could fit in a season of Fargo. Lilly Reed (voiced by Sarah Hamilton) is the new Sheriff who has to maintain order and peace with subordinates not used to take commands from a woman, gangs thinking the town is theirs and the arrival of a suspicious man. It's coming later this year on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
