Still more boring than boredom itself, Wander received an update yesterday which fixed some of the numerous problems the game has been plagued with since release. The main character now runs by default and there is no invisible endurance bar to prevent you from running after a little while. You are now free to run away for as long as you want, though we doubt you'll manage to escape your inevitable doom. The first person view which made it possible to see the world from the perspective of a dwarf Lilliputian has also been deactivated for the moment, so you don't risk breaking your nose when climbing up the jungle stairs. Sadly, all the changes that have been made do not make the game more interesting to play, and even having Davton join me for this new batch of videos didn't prevent us from dosing off as we were flying towards the floating island. The 10 minutes it took to get there as griffins seemed like forever, as you can see in our second video below. On the bright side, the griffins look quite impressive, but maybe by the time the developers were done with them, they didn't have time to build a real game around them. We can only hope they will manage to make the overall experience more interesting with future updates.
