Sometimes we don't need more than one gameplay video to understand that a game isn't going to meet people's potential expectations. When we first saw Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood in action back in December, it looked so dated that we had little hope the final game would prove us wrong. After playing it for a couple of hours, we are sorry to say that we were right. The following videos should be enough to help you understand why we feel this way, but in a nutshell, aside from the dated visuals and the depressing locations, every compartment of the game brought us back more than a decade ago. Enemies look the other way to allow you to stealth-kill them, level design is very limited, combat isn't really fun and it's not very precise, story and characters are not appealing and even voice-acting isn't particularly convincing. We could go on and on but the bottom line is we got tired of the game after 3 missions. Maybe some people will find something in it for them, especially if they are desperate to play as a werewolf, but for us, it is sadly a big no!

The latest trailer of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood showcases the three different forms Cahal can use; Lupus for exploration and stealth, Homid for hacking and quiet approach and Crinos when his rage is at its fiercest. The game will be out February 4th.

Announced in early 2017, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is finally revealed with a first trailer that gives a glimpse at Cahal and his brutal quest after an exile against a company destroying a forest and endangering his tribe. The RPG, developed by Cyanide is set to launch in 2020.
