After DOOM, Bethesda is back on the Nintendo Switch with one of their best FPS, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. We were sent an early copy of the game and we've had a bit of time to play it in dock mode and handheld mode. If you've played DOOM on Switch, you won't be surprised by the very low resolution of the game, which can be explained by the fact that the developers wanted to keep as many details as possible. Though locked at 30 fps, the framerate is pretty solid from what we've seen, but aiming will require a bit of getting used to, even with the motion controls activated. The Diaries of Agent Silent Death brings a stealthier approach with Jessica Valiant, assassin and former OSS agent who finds her way into Paragon Pictures, a Nazi propaganda film studio in California, to confound the enemy's plans.

The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe is the first of three episodes from The Freedom Chronicles season pass for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and it's available now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The episode introduces Joseph Stallion, a former football player in Chicago who goes charges at nazis thanks to his Ram Shackles ability. Jump inside for the trailer.

As crazy as it may sound, we haven't covered all the games which have been Xbox One X enhanced since the launch of the console. Bethesda also updated quite a few titles, among which Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Dishonored 2 (and its DLC) and The Evil Within 2. You'll have to wait a bit more for the latter, but we have recorded high quality videos of all the other 2. As you'll see, image quality is definitely improved compared to the base Xbox One versions, but framerate is still not 100% smooth, even in The New Colossus, which however provides the best console experience here.

October 27 was definitely a big day for the players and after Mario and Assassin's Creed, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus also showed his muscles. This is the Xbox One version that you will see in these videos.
