Before anything else, let me clarify where this game is suppose to stand in the large Far Cry genealogical tree. So, this is Far Cry Instincts Evolution, the Xbox stand-alone add-on to Far Cry Instincts. You must not confuse it with Far Cry Instincts Predator, which is the Xbox 360 version of the game, featuring the original Instincts solo mode plus the brand new story provided by Far Cry Instincts Evolution. Yep, it's a dirty mess. Thank's to Ubi for the headache.

[IN MY OPINION]

As I'm feeling a bit lazy today, I'll make it quick. Forget about Instinct's boring story mode, Evolution is all about action, blood, and blowing-up big structures. The game is fast paced, featuring a large and opened map where you can choose your own path, and is actually quite fun to play. And to be honest, beginning the game with all the special powers in our hands is certainly a big plus. Fun is immediate, and if you like hard-boiled FPS with shiny graphics, you won't be disappointed.

Discover the ten (well, fifteen actually) first minutes of Far Cry Instincts Evolution, featuring: a rail-shooting sequence in a jeep, gunfights on beautiful beaches, a jet-ski rush, big explosions, a hide-and-seek party in a corn field, a lot of ridiculous screams and, last but not least, normal-mapped boobs. How about that !

It's really not that big of a mess. If the readers of this brilliant site can't keep their heads focused long enough to understand where the FarCry's are and how it all works... their too stupid to worry about...

Predator is BOTH Instincts and Evolution on the same disc for the 360

Evolution on the XBox is just the sequel/expansion

I wouldn't want to touch that woman on screen #3. I'd probably have cuts from all the sharp point sticking out of her body...

Anyway, I've like far cry on the pc but havn't tried the xbox version yet. I will probably rent it on the 360.

Dude- with moronic questions like that... I'd question that myself...

On a side note- about FarCry Preditor- there was talk of a code to let you get past the Instincts and get to the Evolution chapter- did that happen yet?

To those saying 'I wouldn't touch this game' or such bullshit; get off your high horse and pull your head out of your ass. Any 'new' FarCry games won't be out for a year at LEAST and this game is still incredible online. Gaming snobs are basically just closet nerds that have too much information and not enough practical common sense or true love of the hobby...
