Capcom released a new batch of 15 images of Resident Evil 5. Looking good, as usual.

First time solo campaign, the rest is about online co-op :)

The graphics are awesome and the music is gonna be so good.

PS. Demo might come "soon" :)

Looks amazing.
Hopefully they'll release a demo early next year. This way people actually have the time to play it and it'll also create a huge buzz leading upto the release of the game.
Also interesting to hear they're interested in remaking Resi 2. Hopefully it's not just a crappy Wii port though.

Looks great but really...did they have to include the guy with the bag on his head and chainsaw AGAIN? I mean it was fun with a Biggy Man reference in RE4 but come on.

I keep hoping they'll tone down Chris' arms but that doesn't seem to be happening. He looks so retarded like this.

Ramiuk1: Because it would be a waste of polygons. Todays hardware isn't capable of pushing unlimited polys at once you know. You wouldn't know it when playing because of all the mapping and effects anyway. Just look at this mesh of a locust from Gears. Models ARE still pretty low poly.

Just to say it, mostly characters of japanese games are pretty round, because they put all of the hardware power in poly-count. But that causes crapy environments. (You barely see any mapping-technics in japanese games due to their outdated engines)

You have to sacrifice sumthin to make all aspects of a game look good.

No flaming, but take any team ninja game or MGS. Characters look great but the rest is just meh...

It's starting to change, but i totally agree that the Japanese developers have been slow on stuff like normal mapping and the likes.

I'm holding out for the PC version.

Just hope somebody tells the developers at Capcom of a little known gadget called a 'mouse' this time round.

You couldn't use the mouse in RE4?

I really hope this game is good, yet after having played Gears 2 and knowing that the gameplay will be relatively the same as RE4, I have lost some interest.

You had to download a mouse-aim mod to be able to play RE4 on the PC with a mouse, the developers shipped it with no mouse support whatsoever.

That would work but the retardation of not including mouse support in the PC port is just infinitely retarded.

Perhaps if you don't own a Cube or PS2?

Looks great, a few bad textures but easily the best looking multiplat, sure these are touched up a bit or from PC but still nice looking. Not as blown away as I was before. Hope the gameplay is good, RE4 was awesome but it seems they are going more action with this one, which could ruin it.

Chris Redfield needs a new character model, he looks like hes addicted to steroids. Obvious Gears influence there, and quite annoying.
