It took Take-Two and 2K Czech (former Illusion Softworks) more than one month to release the E3 Walkthrough of Mafia 2 via this 15 minutes long video, but it was worth waiting considering how good this looks!

Just Unreal...
Day 1 purchase
No realtime reflections on the cars ><
apart from that, graphics look really solid.
Any word about some coop mode ?
Edit: Ok, didn't read. Hope the console versions look good too.
It had some slowdown in the shotgun shooting and here and there, though. Nothing relevant. (So amazing.)

Disappointed that its been pushed back to next year, but hopefully when it does hit it will run well on all platforms
Engine seems pretty tight too! this game is gonna kick ass again! Mafia > GTA III
Mafia II > GTA4
To me GTAIV > Mafia II per default because I generally deteste Mafia settings/stories and GTA IV just nailed the whole 'mood' perfectly. Still, the game looks quality no doubt!
Day 1 purchase
If you'd actually play & get used to a current gen console, you'd know that the controls are just as fluid as a mouse, if not more due to less jerky motions.
Fact just is that almost all the preview and review dudes in game videos have piss poor aim, its basically as if you let a noob play a PC shooter, they'd make the controls seem jerky and noobish too.
Anyone who's any good at console fps' knows that there really isnt any difference, better or worse, between a controller and a mouse. Its just a matter of learning to use the tool.
the shooting in this game looks fun, but this mission wasn't so interesting. you're chasing a character through a dark warehouse (pshhh) and you have to kill off his henchmen to get to him. to add some drama, the place is falling apart. that sounds exactly like the last level of call of juarez: bound in blood, and countless other games that do the same thing. i'm not gonna fall for the pretty graphics on this one, because games that usually try to dazzle you with stellar looks before release usually turn out not as expected. assassins creed is a good example. i'm going to wait till i see more varied gameplay videos, or possibly a demo, before i make a decision of buying this.
games looks decent.
Graphics wise its amazing but this footage has way to much aliasing, Pop-in and low framerate to be a PC version...
Anyway if true hopefully the 360 version wont be to far from this.
Looking great, but can it become boring? Some of the solutions like open a door is pretty dull. I think it lack the little extra so far. I loved the first one so much that I actually finished the race before the patch, so I am very excited about the game.
This is no match for X360 og the PS3 when it comes to graphics. You can tweak more if you have the latest pc-setup, but come on.....what is the point? Since when did graphics decide wich game to be good?
