In five days, the Gran Turismo series will get its 15-year-old anniversary, a date which should also come with some big announcement. We obviously expect Gran Turismo 6 to be officially revealed on PS3 or/and PS4, but who knows!
GT5 gfx are amazing. Never seen a game that looks so clean. But have lots of fault like the shadow quality and obviously std cars. In this video there are some GT6 clips already and the track as well. It is ironic that it will release on PS3 when PS4 is out. lol. I expect them to show some PS4 video also in E3
Im hoping GT6 is good but im not getting my hopes up. I reckon Assetto Corsa & Project Cars are going to be far better!
GT6 and Forza are between arcade and simulation, and that is why they are great. AC and PC are hardcore sims.
It all depends on what you are looking for. For me Forza and GT are perfect.
I was really hoping for a next-gen Gran Turismo, though, just like FM5.

GT & Forza are far from Simcade perfection.
Forza is kinda close but lacks the psychics of GT, And GT 5 just had so much wrong with it, Baffled a hell of alot of people.
Project Cars by the way is not an out and out Sim, It's going to be much along the lines of Forza n GT.
Loved GT5.. "feels" great to play, better than forza for me. But even 9+gigs of patches still hasn't saved it from being a clumsy mess everywhere else. Having the majority of the cars lack the finer details felt cheating...so I hope that's corrected in the next. More so though I want a decent functioning online mode... GT5 has one of the least accessable online mode's I've played on the ps3.. a mass of menu's and headaches getting it to work.
GT6 will prob be announced for both ps3 and ps4... if it will actually come out for both is another thing.

The only part of the game that looks excellent was the premium cars. THe environments, rendering, and the cars without all of the extra care that the premium cars got vary from "pretty good to "pretty freakin' bad." I'll be interested to see what can be done with a GT/Forza game on next gen hardware.
I have GT5 XL. Played first time couple months back. Good game, amazing gfx. It is not possible to improve gfx. They will just modify the engine and optimize it. I might get GT6 on release this time. The game was hyped like best thing ever in video game and so all the disapoointment.
