It's not _quite_ as pretty as PGR3 but oh my do I want to play it.

There should be no shortage of excellent arcade racing experiences to be had on XBL next gen. :)

Gotham Racing looks more alive than Ridge Racer. Sadly RR so far used to play better.

not quite ?? not even close basic would be the description of those backgrounds, but pgr3 was probably in development twice as long

Looks pretty good. I wish they would release higher resolution pictures. It definitely kills the impressive effect seeing the pics in HD

The Pacman animation plays in the corner when it's telling you information about the race (lap time, which position you need to advance to the next race, etc.). Same with the PSP one (though I think that was Rally X).

Not bad, RR6 is just here to appeal to Japanese gamers. The real deal is PGR3. Most of them probably have no idea of any previous PGR games existed.

RR6>PGR3

You know why? Because this game is running at 60fps. I rather have speed.

if a game is designed to run at 30fps then it won't look so slow or bad at that speed. it's not like you're running a pc game at 30fps or something. besides, PGR2 didn't look or play choppy/slow. not that much anyway.

Just looked at the available footage for RR6 and PGR3 again. I guess the main difference is that PGR3 took photos and scans to rather easily recreate existing cities and cars while RR6 has tracks which are fully designed from the ground up for maximum playability. Ofcourse that means PGR3 has nicer graphics, I just think that when comparing the playability RR6 might win due to better track design. London or Las Vegas weren't built to be a fun racing tracks. I'm not sure how much playability I want to sacrifice for nicer graphics in regards to my decision which of the two to buy.

Nice, but it's still an arcade game at heart with horrible drift gameplay.

i think the screens look really good.
if there wasn´t pgr3, i would get this instead.
what i don´t like is the fact that there seems to be no good sense of speed.
