Electronic Arts released these 3 images of The Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle Earth 2. I'm still wondering how they will manage to get this to play nicely without a mouse.

Sounds like its the first RTS game that plays very nice on a console. Maybe thats the first real step... i hope there will be more RTS games for xbox 360!

doesnt look to bad tho i personally wouldnt buy it inless it has Xbox live support which im sure it does. The only problem will be the controls as mentioned and even tho Ign state they work well it still doesnt completely convince me just of yet.

This isn't a troll, but speculating that the gameplay will suffer in an RTS without a mouse, how is that different from speculating that an FPS will suffer without one.

Its too bad MS doesn't wise up and put those front USB ports to use.

RTS need the precision of a mouse, and contrary to an FPS (which can use a little auto aim), in an RTS you can to "click" little icons, in an FPS you have relatively large targets to concentrate on. But we'll see.
