The presentation conference for the Nintendo 3DS has just ended so Capcom releases this trailer and these images of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

I think he means that the mercenaries mode is now a standalone game while in RE4 and RE5 it just been a bonus mode.
But whatever, just buy RE:Revelations if you want a real RE game for your 3ds

Kind of the same thing though, I suppose, only if it's a standalone game they could get away with charging even more for it.

It's just mercenaries with no campaign mode? No thanks. I only played Mercenaries in RE 4 & 5 for about 10 minutes in total and was bored silly by it.

This looks like a cheap rushed for launch effort.
