Sega releases four new images of Condemned 2: Bloodshot. It doesn't look much better than the first one, but if it's as good, we should survive.

the game really aint looking amazing tbh. it'll probably be good, but with some of the other game coming soon its hard to be completely blown away by THIS.
not liking the wierd monster thing in the first shot tho, kinda puts me off the game a little.
As Manny said though, the lighting FX and self shadowing etc do need to be turned on and it seems stupid to allow people to look at shots with none of the forementioned being applied. Yes the first game was dark, but the shadows won`t derive from it`s true dark nature, they just add depth.
Without any `dark` being applied, can you really say that the first game would`ve been as enjoyable as it was?.....I can`t!. The shadowing/dark, creepy-eerieness was what made it great and games of this style require that to become proficient in it`s field.
Would Alien vs Predator 2, or Doom 3 have been as scary without shadows?........erm no lol. Bring on the next set of screens and we`ll see, but for now, the future just seems to be getting better IMO :0)
Before i tried part 1 i thought this might be cool, particularly since i heard that the first one was good. But now? I don't know.
The enemies also felt really smart in that one. The way they'd hide around corner and then jump you.

So much is sound, so much is animation, so much is the visceral feel of clobbering and being clobbered. Weapons are really the only reason to be worried I reckon, I hope they don't turn it into a shooter.
Apart from that, it's the sequel to what's still the only truly "next gen" feeling game I've played on the high end systems so far, so suffice to say it has a pretty solid foundation to stand on.
Though, two years into the next gen and this is the best in engine tech Monolith has to offer? Close shop.
