PS3

Sony Online Entertainment released these 5 new Untold Legends Dark Kingdom images. I don't think this game will be the reason PS3 will sell like crazy at launch...

It won't be a killer app or a crowd favorite , but these kinds of games are the reason why PS3 has the most variety in its game library. Most don't appreciate these games, but hack 'n slashes have their fan base. And you aren't seeing these games on Xbox 360.

Haha sure you are, Marvel Ultimate Alliance. The game will be good, unlike this one, and the graphics are only slightly worse in all honesty. This game just isn't pretty at all, and judging from the PSP versions it won't even have the gameplay to make up for that. Outside of the Everquest team, I don't trust SOE with anything.

Oh it's not that bad. They do have their fanbase, as do the Genji games. The graphics aren't mindblowing, but if you look at the new HD trailers on Gametrailers.com, it looks a lot better than say, 3-4 months ago. I think it'll probably be a pretty solid game come launch time. I don't think I'll buy it at launch, but when it's in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart I may pick it up.

I'm sorry, but this game looks pretty bad. I mean, when I first saw it, I though,"Holy hell, is THIS supposed to make me want a PS3?" Isn't this a game made by the same company making the system? Shouldn't they have the inside track on how to make stuff look effing sweet?

It looks considerably better than a few months ago. Besides, Sony still has Team ICO, and I cant wait to see what they produce on the ps3.

True, plus Zipper and Guerrilla. Are Naughty Dog and Insomniac 1st party now as well?

For the moment Naughty Dog and TeamICO are the only ones worth mentioning. Zipper and Guerilla have yet to impress.

But I do love hack n' slashes nothing beats sitting next to friends, and family playing a hack n' slash.

Yeah, but, man... this game needs to step up in the graphics department before too many people mistake it for a Wii title. You'd think Sony would know how to code for their own console.

This looks to be the PS3's Kameo. It looks nice (although Kameo looked much better) but there doesnt really seem to be any interest for it. This certainly had a place on the PSP especially being its first RPG, but here on the PS3 it just seems outta place like it belongs on something with, um..., a pointing and typing device... yeah thats it.

Is it not top down view anymore? Or is it just the devs showing us the fights close up...?
