Here are the first screenshots of Splinter Cell 4 (Xbox 1), showcasing a bald Sam Fischer in all his orange-carceral-suit glory. Between Oz and Riddick, these screenshots are astonishing. We can't wait to see what they've done with the 360 version.
Wow! This is an Xbox game? I can't imagine how Xbox360 games would like during its final years. I like the SC series. This one looks like it is offering something new.
It's weird.. If this was on 360, I'd think it would be kind of underwhelming, but when I see this on XBOX, it looks absolutey AMAZING. Thats the kind of expectation you get with Ubisoft giving us all these beautiful graphics. CANT WAIT TO SEE THE 360 VERSION!
All of this poses the question; What was up with the X05 trailer? It had another guy.. Possibly and probably a third echelon guy helping Sam out? Was that just a distraction so lesser people would assume it was Sam?
Oh and also, what will I make all the non-believers do for me, those who didn't trust me when I said the bald guy in the X05 trailer was Sam? :)

um didnt it say at the begining of that trailer something like "sneek peek at next gen ONLINE EXPERIENCE of Splinter Cell 4"
The guy in the trailer WASN'T SAM. This guy is. is it just me, or does this scene seem extra cinematic. With all the game--> craze going on right now...wouldn't it be sweet to see sam on the big screen. Of course only if they handled the property with care as they are doing with Halo.
sam is discharged from Third Echelon as he was distraught over the death of his daughter Sara, he then later committed several acts of armed robbery and killed several civilians. Fisher was then caught and thrown into prison...this is all we know...

The trailer your speaking of said it was multiplayer. So neither characters were Sam in that vid.
Kinda "posed" screens...doesn't really show a lot. Not sure I like the new look really either. I've always felt this series was a bit overrated honestly, but I know a lot of people enjoy it. =)

Overrated! The new look, i agree, is worse, however, come on., you may say the series is overrated if you're the kind of person that just runs and guns his/her way through the level. It's possible to get your way through the games killing only a handful of baddies. That's quite spectacular and how it's meant to be played.
Although I personally can't stand when I am forced to wait for the AI to do something. Like have to listen to a boring conversation amond work employees on random topics. And finally be able to pass the room to find I tripped an alarm, and have to do the whole thing over again.
Even though, this series is sick, and these graphics are very impressive. I have a feeling the xbox 360 version won't be as impressive as this though. : /
