Looks great! Seems this gen has some incredible third person shooters... I am playing Dead Space right now and that game has just blown me away 100%. Can't wait to play Gear of War 1.

Buy yea, I hope PS3's price drops by the time this comes out. I love Naughty Dog, Jak 3 is one of the best games I have played.

Without hyperbole, i think this game has the best animation and graphics i've seen in a 3rd person action game so far.

this game looks absolutely STUNNING. the sheer amount of texture variety is just insane, and it's super high quality. every freaking wall looks different from the last. animations are as amazing as the first, if not more so, platforming looks great and it's intergration into combat looks fluid as hell.

i cant wait for this. but what i REALLY cant wait for is E3. if sony can afford to show all this new footage (uncharted, heavy rain next week on GT etc), announce offers (U2 beta with infamous) and generally blow a huge load before E3...then surely they have something MASSIVE up their sleaves? this footage is the sort of thing you'd end a conference on, not show weeks before E3. either they have something impressive to announce, or they're being stupid...but i dont think even sony are stuid enough to show all their cards before E3. if it's team ico's new game i will litterally scream like a little girl.

yeah, it doesnt flow from cover that well....at least compared to the other animations, but i'd assume they will tweak that. they have a long time left afterall.

The animations are often a bit dodgy in the first game so I can see that happening again...

...but that said, I have to agree with Korndog (for once). The game looks amazing. I was never too fond of the first game until... today actually. I restarted on Hard this morning and I've been playing all day, it's definitely more entertaining than the first time I played it, basically a game version of the Indiana Jones films. I'm still not convinced it does anything new per se, but what it does do it does well, it's one of the few games that has actually made me pay attention to the story.

One wish for Uncharted 2 though... no ridiculous MP trophies. I like to finish games but I'm not big on multiplayer, certainly not for the kind of achievements/trophies Epic like to put in their games anyway... I hate Gears for that.

Pretty sure it's gonna get tweaked, I remember some older videos from Uncharted that also had some really floaty/weird animations that were fixed in the final version.

Heard some amazing things.. About every aspect of that elusive game, up to and including graphics. I hope to god it's at E3, because from a community I am involved with ahs been told by someone, it's going to be pretty special.

There is not much that I can say, that has not already been said by someone else on this thread before. This game looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous - and it is still months away from release. Naughty Dog deserves major kudos.

Back in '07 when the PS3 first came out, the original Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was one of the very few games worth getting on the system, and even to this day stands as my all-time favorite game on the PS3 (sorry MGS4 and Killzone 2, you are just not good enough), and one of my five fav games this entire gen across all platforms. And now two years later, we are getting a sequel not only worthy of one of the best games all gen, but one that sits as one of the handful of games this gen (across all platforms), that virtually screams, "next-generation." So few games have come out this gen and done that in one way or another, and all signs point at Uncharted 2 being added to that exclusive list that do.

BTW. I loved the Sonic Adventure/Sonic Adventure 2 homage at the very beginning of the video. Good stuff.

Or maybe their secret game, the one we've been hearing about for some times now and which is not the new Team Ico Game. Darren Waters from the BBC has alluded to it twice already and Ben Dukta editor in chief of PsXExtreme did too.

Exactly what I thought. Every single other animation looks top notch but the roll juts looks out of place. Hopefully that'll be something they fix before the final game.
