The Drum edition will be mine
... that noone I know want's to sing while not beeing drunk.
I mean, it's no problem playing guitar and su*king at it in front of friends.
But singing and su*king at it in front of friends is only possible under heavy influence of alcohol. :)

10 Fret Bar FTW!
after reading the preview for this game in the latest Game Informer, I think I will be passing on GHIII and just be picking this game up.
Did you enjoy the episode 01. s 04 of Entourage? imo, it was absolutely awesome!
Anyways. I'm really looking foward getting this game. Can't wait to start rockin my sock off. This is going to be the ultimate party game.
i could buy a DS or a PSP for that..+a 2 games
But aside from that; Theres going to be comprehensive character customisation as well right?

or you just buy, you know, one instrument and play with that. It does have up to 4 player Co-op over live(vocal, drum, guitar, bass).
But then again, I don't know the official pricing and bundling info, since Harmonix hasn't announced it yet. So I'll just be quiet :p
p.s. That Fender looks like my real one! Sweet. I wonder if those new buttons allow for lead tapping or maybe just some variation between regular notes. Either way, FRIGGIN SWEET. The drum and guitar versions are the ones to look out for.
And I see they didn't ditch those.... "stylized" faces. They make my head hurt...
I'll wait for some rhythm fan reviews of GH3 before I assume that it's trash, thanks.
Still.. this game will be better :P

I'm certainly not writing Neversoft and GHIII off, I'm just cautious about it as opposed to quietly excited for Rock Band :)

I loved it! So friggin hilarious, entourage is the best show.. ever!
It's a game and lots of rhythm games have probably been crafted by people who aren't necessarily skilled musicians. Plus.. how do you know no one on the Neversoft team plays?
This certainly sounds better.. and the controller looks much better.. but Neversoft deserves a shot at making whatever type of game they'd like.. and I don't automatically expect it to suck.
I play some guitar and it really isn't that much more difficult. Sure, chords and stuff may be tricky, but still not vastly more so than nailing these crazy button combos either. At the end of the day you haven't really learned anything you can build on, but rather just memorized a crazy button combination down to split second timing.
But I suppose in essence that is what a lot of games are about.
