The trailer looks quite impressiv. He, the Iron Man himself, is very properly done. For the environments, they are quite a bit empty and not so awesome. When the gameplay is good, and it has some alternation, this could become a nice game. But those screens don't do it any justice, the trailer looks a lot better!

definityly...the trailer and graphics looked really good, the demo they showed was nice too, intercepting rockets to destroy command towers..

looked really good, this must have been one of the first, comic/movie games i've been looking out for.

The enviremonts look empty indeed..we'll see how this works out

Massive environments are the only way this could have worked, I guess you have to sacrifice something graphical to make them work if they are to be playable on the ground and in the air at high speed. Of course you could sacrifice gameplay a la Lair but I would hope that has taught everyone a lesson.

Any info on whether the game will have full voice cast from the movie? Or whether we'll play as Tony Stark at all?

It will suck, just like every other movie-based game. End of story!

Uhh, yes and all but one of the games you mentioned weren't released to coincide with the release date of their movies.

So lets try again with games that were made simply to get some cash while the movie is popular :

Superman
Spiderman
Toy Story
Shrek

You know what im not even going to list anymore, it brings to much pain.

Xmen Legends, although not based on the movies were released to coincide with movies like Xmen
Marvel Ultimate Alliance again but with movies like Spiderman 3

Also most games follow the trends of film and base them from that
RE 4 came after 28 Days Later, Godzilla games made a return after monster movies came back, horror games in the style of Japanese cinema became more popular as the culture's horror film became more popular Fatal Frame and others
So if you're going to talk about cashing in, pretty much every video game is released to coincide with some form of popular film going on. The two are very much linked to one another. A lot of games get their inspiration from film and film gets a lot of inspiration from games

The first 5 where loosely based on the film at best and the last one was absolutely terrible.

Superman wasn't exactly based on the movie
Spiderman wasn't exactly based on the movie
Toy Story wasn't
Shrek wasn't

For every GOOD game based on a movie, there are about 10 others that completely suck, nomatter how good they look in screens and trailers.

I doubt this will follow the movie exactly either...

Graphics look good, I saw the first demonstration to the media a while ago, I think it looks good, but we'll see.

Reminds me a lot of the Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, which is a VERY good thing. I loved that game, and I really hope it takes some great ideas from the game and continues with it's own brand of transportation (flying) and open missions/open world scenarios.
