But i'm a big fan of HL2 + all the source mods ( DoD CSS ect ) But i feel the source engine, not matter how good it is, will leave games looking somewhat alike.

This game looks nice. Is it also going to Xbox 360? They shoulda ported Half-Life 2 to that instead.... oh well at least it's backwards compatible, hopefully, it'll look a little better on a higher res with AA.
Looks great, port or not, I'm gonna pick this up for PC.
Can't blame the Source engine for making the games look alike, thats up to the artists and how they make the style of the game look. They were obviously going for a look that is pretty similar to HL2 in terms of colors used(more natural colors as opossed to bright colors).

But seriously who didn't played Morrowind can't undurstand how a overwhelming experience Oblivion will be. I mean..i quitted playing morrowind after 300 hours...i ended up with a long white beard, pointed hat and i talked "thou and thee" for one month after lol
