Playstation Vita's action title from Keiji Inafune gets some screenshots. The game will focus on the sacrifice aspect, the player needs to torture the character's bdy parts to be able to perform magic. Set to release as a digital download this Winter in Japan, European and North American release date not yet announced.

it's no gravity daze/uncharted/wipeout, but i liked the style of the game, and the monster design. quite different to the traditional interpretations we've seen elsewhere.

looks a bit "monster hunter" tho, and i never liked those games...hopefully it's good. the more decent vita games the better.

The formation of the characters make it look like some turn-based rpg. Good. I'm really looking forward to the games coming from Japanese grounds. I'm really curious about what the big devs (obviously Square Enix) is able to pump out of the hardware.

Screen number 3 - this enemy was boss in dmc4 lol.
The game looks quite ugly btw.

You mean cerberus? The 3 headed hound that guards the enterence to the underworld? That's been in more then just DMC3. I like the idea that all monsters in this world stem from humans. At least from what i understand, the whole premis of the universe is that you sacrifice parts of your humanity for magical abilities, and the monsters where all once human, deformed by their lust for power? Maybe that's wrong but i did get it from a pretty "engrish" presentation...lol

EDIT: no, you mean the big mouth frog thing...lol, should maybe learn to count...haha.

I'm talking about Bael from DMC4. It looks similar to these two monsters on the screen.

I got excited for this game when they were talking about the strong focus on online features for this game during the debut presentation.

Screens are so much bigger than the screen of the vita, why must they release shots at that size? :( Also Seth, if you saw this game on a 3DS I'm sure you'd be like "wow that looks amazing" for it to be running on a handheld and be a full on co op title, I'd say it's pretty impressive. Like KORNdog said, not an Uncharted/Gravity Daze/Wipeout but it still looks good.

I'm hoping the sacrifice mechanic is actually a well done mechanic and actually feels like a sacrifice.

looks awful, Jap developers continue to fail.....

I am really interested in what the Wii U jap games will look like! Will they look as the 6th year PS3/Xbox 360 stuff or the first gen Xbox 360/PS3 stuff? Interesting times ahead.
