First and last screenshots are beyong beautiful. That smoke is gorgeous. Now I am seriously doubting, either I upgrade my PC a little bit or I get the PS4.
just cause PS4 is more powerful then X1 doesnt mean it matches anywhere near the best PCs right now.. PS4 will get nowhere near that image quality, and x1 will be even further behind

I agree. I have a feeling these screens are from the PC version of the game....however, we can't just dismiss the PS4 as being capable of this type of resolution. The Order 1886 and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edtion proves this. Yes, PC will still have the advantage in terms of graphics, but what we're already seeing with the PS4...that advantage is shrinking. #My2Cents

Let's see... it already has a case, it already has a PSU, it has a Mobo, a CPU and RAM already built-in, it already has all necessary peripherals (except the tv) and a OS that's running games just fine without fiddeling and tweaking settings for about 2 months to run them games smoothly... ?

Again: I'd have a computer anyway. So they're both essentially single purpose purchases and $500. Except the GPUs pack a lot more power. And games are cheaper.
If it takes you two months to get your PC games working by all means buy a console!

No, it doesn't take me 2 months to run games (double click to play! well... in theory), it takes me days and weeks to run them games SMOOTHLY. But do you know what i'm really fed up most with ? In 50% not to be able to run them day 1 AT ALL, b/c those morons at NVidia or ATi are slowpokes when it comes to delivering GPU drivers THAT WORK... Plus: Did you just tell me a fresh Win7/8 install runs games just fine without ANY probs at all WHITHOUT going beet-red ?
It takes weeks to install all the crap that's necessary just to play them...

Hey, I'm not even disputing that PC games generally demand more knowledge of the platform. I personally don't mind that. I actually enjoy it!
I was just trying to put a little perspective on that number. I don't think $500 is that insane for an enthusiast level GPU set-up.
@GriftGFX: I once enjoyed that too, but after the 2nd or 3rd system crash (HDD's or GPU's dying on you b/c of temps, or frying your entire system and all other components while upgrading your PSU b/c postman guy felt like kicking your parcel around) it has become a pain tweaking my WinOS and games roughly to the same performance levels they had before...
My pc is quite top notch atm. But I just need the PS4. Ifv you look how beatiful some PS3 games are, I can't even imagine what devs are able to churn out for PS4 eventually. This is a gorgeous game.

No one will argue with high end PCs being better than PS4s, but that doesn't mean that these visuals are out of the PS4s reach. Killzone showed promise. We'll just have to wait and see. And hopefully the XB1 will get somewhere close (though I have my doubts).
