Ubisoft just announced a new Rainbow Six title called Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Critical Hour, to be released in spring on Xbox and PS2. First screen inside.
DAMN, i was hoping they finally anounced a RB6 title for the 360, get the F on with it already Redstorm...and please NO lockdown crap, hell...they destroyed the whole RB6 thing with that.
looks very similar to lockdown from that pic. I do agree with moonwalker. RS3 BA was the best rs game for xbox. Lockdown seemed a lot more arcadey/run and gun!
hope they do a good job with this, can't wait to get a rs on 360 :)
I too think they should all commit comercial suiside and just produce games for the 2 million people with 360. The 50 odd million people with PS2 and Xbox should all throw their consoles in the bin! ;)
On the other hand, that looks really nice for current gen, although nothing matches Broken Arrow on the the PC :)

Well...to me that screen looks like Lockdown with better graphics. I think I'll stick with Broken Arrow until the release a sequel thats better than BA..
Dangerous: You're making last-generation gamers like me feel like neglected sh** when you say that. How would you feel if I said they should just stop making games for the 360 and instead focus on the PS3 only, where the biggest fanbase is to be had?
Ubisoft killed Rainbow Six. If Rainbow Six 4 or 5 is anything like previous versions on Xbox count me out. Glitches galore not to mention the other crap they think makes a game good.

They didn't release GRAW screens, they released a compressed VIDEO which CAPTURES were taken from.
Have you seen the video, it was horrible. you can tell by the way the characters were moving, and don't tell me about that "low compressed" crap, high resoultion video won't make it look better, it might make it look a little bit better. Ubisoft screwed up big time, on the graphics of this game; which is weird considering they make good looking games.
Lets just hope they redeem themselves with the new Splinter Cell.

I don't know what you are talking about with the animation in GRAW, its top notch. If you are talking about when he is running in 3rd person you can't see his legs, all you can see is his upper body, and hes crouching down in the first part, most people don't move there upper bodies around to much when trying to aim and shoot while moving. Even at the end when he started sprinting the animation was really good.

Hey I own an Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube. However, I do NOT own an Xbox 360...thank you very much.
Im simply stating the obvious...there are already enough Rainbow Six games on the current-gen systems, they should make one for the 360.
Dang...honestly...UbiSoft is killing their franchises by releasing so many of them so quickly. Especially Rainbow Six after Lockdown that was garbage. Makes me really sad!

But to comment on the new RS - this is just a Lockdown with new levels and (hopefully) less bugs. Ubisoft should quit trying to make the Rainbow Six series with the Lockdown updates. RS3 played perfectly fine (sans the lean glitch).
They are killing this franchise...*sigh* I guess the good times with Rainbow Six are over...I was really hoping for a next-gen Rainbow Six that would be like Black Arrow but with better graphics and new stuff in it...But I guess thats never gonna happen. They just had to make RS like Halo...and thats why everyone hated Lockdown...
RS is a tactical shooter that is realistic...they made it like Halo: Run, Shoot, Kill/Die...Repeat. Very boring....and this Rainbow is going to suck just as much as Lockdown seeing as how it looks to be an x-pack. Lets just hope they don't ruin Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon...

Honestly, Lockdown can't hold a candle to Halo or even Killzone in terms of gameplay.
The SC and GR developers aren't taking as big a gameplay change leap as the RS team did, SC and GR built upon what they already had and found ways to make it work better the next time - the RS time scrapped everything and made everything from the ground up to be pure clunky run and gun nonsense.
