Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

Get a look at the gameplay of Abyss Odyssey (in 1080p/60fps), the side-scrolling action-fighting game from ACE Team which features treasure hunting, soul stealing, procedurally generated environments, fantastical enemies and challenge rooms. The digital title will be out on July 15th for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Fuck sake, I read the description (more like scanned through it) and was pleased to see the release date, then I clicked on the video expecting Abe's New'n'Tasty and got this shit instead.

Yup, I'm getting this. Glad to see 2D action taking inspiration from fighting games. Cool ideas like being able to change into any enemy and them having extensive moves, hope the game is challenging. This and Aztez look promising.

yeah I thought the same. The Oddworld game is coming out on 22 July though, on PS4. PC and Xbox One later.

Looks pretty damn good to me, hadn't heard about it yet but might give it a try! Like the character art as well.

I love the art nouveau portraits in the story sections, but the gameplay graphics are not too impressive.
The implementation of co-op seems unfinished. Have they ever heard of splitscreen? If the players are too distant from each other, it's hard to see ahead or in one instance in the video, one player was completely off screen in the blind! Dynamic splitscreen like in TT's LEGO games might be an idea.
