Activision announces Spiderman: Friend of Foe

Xbox 360 PS3

Activision just launched the officiel website for a new game based off the Spiderman franchise, called "Spiderman: Friend or Foe". No further information about the platforms concerned or the genre of the game, but the screens we grabbed on the website let us think the game is planned to be released on X360 and PS3. More details in the days to come.

Nice. Too bad the recent game on the 360 didn't look this good. Hopefully the gameplay exceeds the quality of these shots!

This game looks a lot better than the just released Spiderman 3 (excepted the Goblin).

Specially because of the city, the model of spidey looks about the same but the city looks really good.

Seriously though, I just bought Spider-Man 3, why the hell did they announce another one so soon?

One big problem with enxt-gen Spidey model- He looks way too funny.
Big head, small shoulders, medium arms lol

And GreenGoblin made me laugh, he looks hilarious.

These screens are obviously CGI just look at the buildings in Picture 2 especially. nobody makes that jump in graphics this soon after Spiderman 3. No Way!

Look at the green goblin in pick 3, it matches the style and detail of spider man, but then the goblin becomes this ...chibi form in the 4th pic....was it supposed to be a joke? Also the glider goes from being pink in the 3rd shot to being purple in the fourth. Maybe this chibi green goblin is supposed to be a weapon the ACTUAL green goblin throws or something? Thats why he looks so bad in the fourth pic?

Proportions on Spidey look more cartoony. Based on the upcoming TV series perchance?

I think they're "in game" simply cause they aren't terribly exciting. I don't see the point of releasing these if they didn't hint at the quality of the spidey model itself.

I think this is more of a comical approach to spiderman than a serious take like the current game.

I also believe these shots aren't from ingame, but a CG cutscene, spiderman looks way too great in the model to be real time i think.

the 4th pic isn't supposed to be the goblin, looks like one of his minions, the actual goblin looks great tho, well as far as i can see in the 3rd pic...
the movie sucked, didn't play it but spiderman 3 the game looks like it sucked, hopefully they'll get this one right

Almost certainly pre-rendered CGI, Spidey and the city look great. Especially the detail on spidey's suit. But, as said, the gobin in pic 4 looks bleedin terrible.

We don't need breathing room when Spidey 3 was such garbage. Biggest waste of a full price game purchase I've ever experienced.

To me, this game is "Sorry we had to rush Spidey 3. We promise to take our time and make a GOOD game this time."
