Aisha Tyler, known for her many roles in TV shows like Friends, Nip/Tuck and CSI to name but a few, is apparently the official ambassadress of the Halo Reach beta, as proven in this informative and, shall I say, "strange" video. It is worth mentioning that this lovely lady is part of the voice cast of the game and that she is said to be a video game fan that could very well kick your ass.

I personally love the actress and her as a person and I am so happy she is involved with the voice cast. She goes to E3. There is a video of her talking about it actually.

This game has THE WORST promo campaign in history. If you have seen the developers introduction to BETA, you certainly know, what Im talking about. This lady is very nice and nothing against her personaly, but it has AGAIN the stupid childish style of promoting things....trying to convince you, that they have found something ultra super special revolutionary........just another multiplayer game. Its nice, it has nice features, but dont be such "we discovered the best things in games history" style assholes.

I think, they take themself too seriously. I dont have anything against Halo or XB360, but I dont believe, that their stupid acting is done for purpose. Thats just them....they are GODS! :-D

I have to totally disagree here. Some of you are taking this way too seriously. This is supposed to be light hearted, you know, "tongue-in-cheek" an all. I don't get some people sometimes, I got a chuckle out it, its actually well done and pretty funny. Mission accomplished Bungie. The BETA is now live...on to the fragfest.

I don't need a celebrity reciting something that trash talking gamers may say online. What I got from the video was a company that realizes that it's lost its flare. I also see a company trying to boast about how great their own product is before the gaming community has rated it. This game is only what Halo3 should have been. Will it be fun? Yes, indeed. Will it redefine the fps genre? No it will not. So I ask you Bungie, please do us a favor and stop hyping this beta beyond proportions. This is the same thing that you guys did with Halo3. We all know how that turned out. Believe me fellow gamers, if Bungie gets positive reviews about this beta, they will do nothing to improve it. They will sell it the way it is. There will be no improvement in the visuals, the maps will lack balance, and the game will be full of glitches that will be abused by cheaters. Cheaters are a large demographic of the gaming business. If they can't cheat or win fairly, they won't buy the game. So yes Bungie, we know that some of the glitches are intentional. I'm on to you. Damn, she sure is a fine specimen though. Now watch how many gamers disagree with me. Although off the topic, I know Alan Wake will live up to its promises. I also just completed Mass Effect2 after a week of playing, which I think will be another hard game to follow as far as quality. I couldn't put the controller down. Awesome beyond words.
