A new trailer from Alice: Madness Returns has popped up which pictures the new Wonderland of the game, plus 3 new screens. American McGee's game will be out in mid-June.
I hope this is better from a gameplay standpoint than the original. I liked it when it first came out, but it really survived on aesthetic alone, and the game itself was a bit shoddy compared to other 3rd/first person shooters out at the time.
This is funny because I just started taking programming classes this semester after I heard about this game. I did not notice there was an object oriented programming application called "Alice" which is this girl right here lol.

Yeah, the combat was simple, it was more about the storytelling and level design that impressed me. From what we've seen, the combat looks deeper with the many weapons and different enemies requiring strategies. This could make it a better action game, but I don't expect much since this is the action-adventure genre (Zelda, BG&E, Psychonauts) which are usually more laid back on the twitch.
