After being delayed a few times since the end of last year, Alpha Protocol has finally gone Gold and will not miss its late May release. Sega sent us a whole new video presenting some of the skills the main character can develop in the game. Just a warning, the texts in the video are in French, but the audio is in English.

I still can't tell if this looks good or not. I have been looking forward to it, then I just saw the main guy beating up a guy and two other guys with guns standing there waiting to be punched next... Seems like old style arcade beat em up which is poor. I will def give this a shot though.

It'll probably be an ok game with nice ideas. A good bargain buy. Never at full price.

Yeah, that didn't look too good for a game representing the stealth/action genre. The video might hurt the game's sales because it appears to have really poor A.I. Try pulling such a stunt in Splinter Cell Conviction on the guys with weapons would get you killed. Four guys with guns, but nobody wants to shoot. Not a good sign when gameplay is supposed to be the strong point of a game with mediocre visuals.

watching that video bored me to tears. And it amused me after checking out some gameplay of an old game called gun just to check out how it looks nowadays (dreadful) this looks closer to that game than rdr from a graphical standpoint. But yeh like others mentioned AI looked dumb, 3 guys with guns, 1 getting the crap beaten out of him, 3 others just swaying and huddling together aiming and awaiting their turn....really? in a trailer???

God,I have to agree with you guys,
the A.I looks really a bit more then stupid !
Hiding behind that open thing there and the guard is just passing by is one thing,
but beating one guy up and the others are waiting turn next to him....plain stupid.

Maybe they have orders not to Kill him....thats my only explanation right now,otherwise...they could have taken a good look at the battle system of Batman. People attack you..when they are in a group !

Let's pray it turns out better then what shown here.
