If Found... is a coming-of-age interactive visual novel unveiled today by Annapurna Interactive. Created by Irish artist Llaura Ash McGee and developed by Dublin-based studio Dreamfeel, the title tells the story of Kasio and her diary that she destroyed on New Year's Eve 1993. Inked there were thoughtd about her return home to Achill Island, family conflict, friends, challenges and amongst all these pages the explanation for a black hole about to destroy Earth. It's coming early in 2020 on PC, jump inside for a teaser and some screens.
In the game, players enter the mind of Kasio, a young, rebellious and creative soul who is destroying her diary on New Year’s Eve. To discover her story and uncover her secrets, players must erase her words and her memories. In this vivid and honest depiction of the West of Ireland in the early 1990s, players explore Kasio’s world through her torn up memories, like moving into an abandoned mansion, hanging out with the band, going to a punk show, breaking into Kasio’s own house, destroying the universe, and finding out who Kasio can be.
If Found... features beautiful, hand-drawn art by Liadh Young, and an electronic soundtrack by 2mello, Eli Rainsberry, and licensed music tracks by Irish artists.
