Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

It would not be a normal day without a new stunt video of Just Cause 2. Eidos/Square-Enix will not let you down so here is another piece of explosive Colt Seavers action. Let us remind you that a demo of the game was released a few days ago and that we even captured a nice video for you guys.

*cough* For PC-Demo there's ways to remove the 30min time-limitation (cheatengine/trainers). There's even a glitch on the 360 which can practically do the same. If that's old news to you: I don't care, just wanted to let others know. *cough*

Not only can you remove the timer, you can also go out of the restricted area using the same glitch - at least on the 360 you can.

Now if only they had a glitch to fix the driving/flying physics, and tighten up some of the shooting game play mechanics, and this game would have AAA written all over it.

As it is, after playing this demo for a few hours, I still want this game - it's easily light years better than the original. However, at the same time, it's flaws prevent me from paying full price for it.

A lot of people complained about the driving and shooting in GTA IV not being good, but the facts are these: if more sandbox games' vehicles and shooting mechanics played as good as GTA IV, there would be a lot more AAA sandbox games on the market.

Just Cause 2 needs about three to six more months of work to fix the driving/flying and shooting. If they did that, this would easily be a day one purchase. I'm still going to wind up picking this title up, it's really got a lot of heart, and I like the vide of the whole thing, and frankly the graphics are gorgeous, in a technicolor kind of way. Just gonna have to hold out and pick it up on sale, in the bargain bin, or pre-owned, though.

GTAIV?

This game its like a million times better than that game(Fun factor) and only in the demo.

Talk about priorities in games.

Not to disrespect or anything Free but thats the way I see it,if teh game its more fun for me automativally that makes it better, also those flaws you mention I dont see them at all.

the only thing i HATE about this game from what i played on the demo, was the when the enemy ram you with there car you fly sideways, now thats fine, but when you try do it back the npc car is like brickwall it wont budge, thats the only grip i have with this game rest was goofy, crazy and mindless fun, what i like to play on the side from my other games, cannot wait for it come though my front door

I'm surprised to hear so many positive experiences with the demo. To me it felt like they just drop you in there and you have to find out yourself what to do with it.

Well there is missions in the demo and there is different ways to do them but I think thats kinda the selling point of the game, you being put in a big sandbox where you can pretty much do whatever the hell your imagination come up with.

Yeah I'm surprised to see so many positive reactions too. This game came off as flulff to me.
The main character is terrible, and the game is just all around cheesy.
It's like experiencing the guitar riff in MW2 every time you level up, only instead you experience it for 30 minutes. EXTREME DAMAGE!!!!!!!

I really didn't expect this to be so much fun, but after nearly 10 play-throughs of the demo.. I think it's safe to say like it :)

Driving, shooting- got the knack of it now so it's not a problem. Love zipping about the place with the hook and p-shoot.
Gorgeous visuals. Skydiving from nearly 5km in the air never looked so great in a game.

Yeah characters and story are mega cheese, but with a game this fun, I can honestly say it doesn't matter.

If I can find the game cheap, it would be difficult for me not to get it.

Great sandbox fun.

LOL FreeSwag, so true so true. :)

infact i shud quote everything u said. Could not agree more. Everyone seem to have lowered their standarts when it comes to sandbox game control. GTA4 has problems and ive thrown controllers across the room because of this "stickyNstopping" feel GTA has. But still its ALOT better than JC2 (demo) and the Saint Row titles.

I was hoping for this to be a nobrainer, must own, buy now think later. But the demo is awful. I hate the steering and the physics is a bit "fake". I dont think people should settle with JC2 as it is now. Lets move forwards and not get stuck in this weak physics and steering. Unless you think a rock has perfect handling, then JC2 is all you need.

I have to repeat some of what people said before,
Could be much better if the Driving and shooting controls would be better ,really sad if they do not change that !

Otherwise a very fun game !

Driving physics in the demo are fine for the most part. Some cars do seem to be a little bit flimsy. Practice and not driving pedal to the metal helps. This game is going to have many cars and some are better suited at other terrains. Rain will also affect the handling. And I really like the responsive handbrake and deformation.

Regarding the video. Nice stunt and the sensation of speed is very good.

Rico is a great character! And I don't know exactly, what you mean by game being cheesy, but probably it isn't. At least not in a wrong way. :)
