there are so many other games out there that deserve a sequel much more than this.

Looks alright, but the first one sucked so hard it's difficult to take the sequel serious.

I don't understand why this even got greenlit, the original must have sold pretty well in spite of it's overall poor quality. This does not look much better thus far and I have to agree with jmd749 there are so many games more worthy of a new installment...

I enjoyed the game, it was a decent co-op game and I'm glad they have the chance to fix what was broken with this game

As a gamer I can't understand why this game 'deserves' a sequel. But, Army of Two sold very well. So not so difficult to understand why there 'will' be a sequel. I just hope that EA will keep their promise to provide sequels for Dead Space and Mirror's Edge.
It looks better than the first in this trailer, but trailers remain trailers.
As a gamer you should know that this game is really fun played with another person helping you. I enjoyed (much more than RE5) the co-op factor so much I that I've never played the single player and never will. But since you probably don't have the game, that why you probably don't understand.

Also look at the sales of the games you mentioned, Mirror's Edge barely passed 1 million copies on 3 platforms, Dead Space the same, but Army of Two sold around 2 million copies on 2 platforms.

Which one did you thought EA was going to give the green light first?

I actually had fun with the first one too (although I didn't and wouldn't have paid full price for it) but I'm not sure what you're getting at there.. the game was basically a modern day rip of Gears of War, even if it did do certain things better.
