Electronic Arts released this new trailer from Army Of Two, showing a bit of new gameplay footage and cutscenes. The graphics engine seem really good, let's just hope they will have fixed the tearing problems in the final release.
I dont care about EA because I have only bought one game and that was BF2 MC long time ago but traded it in, didnt like it so much. But this game looks very good, and I am going to buy this.

What Gears of War? Dont be stupid man, Gears of War got it from Kill.Switch, but they made it better with the next-gen technology. So if you think that Army of Two is copying Gears of War then you must go way back of who is copying who.

Are my ears deceiving me or was that Church from Red Vs Blue?? I kept expecting to hear him say "CABOOSE!" at any moment, lol! Oh yeah, was that the best lip syncing ever or what in the pre-rendered CG scenes? (They were pre-rendered CG, right??)

What I've read you can also bling your guns with diamonds and stuff, plus you can 'unlock' different swear words and physical attacks against your team mate. Ohh yay what brilliant design.

Very valid complaints, but the gameplay doesn't look too bad in this trailer. It has very tough company though--and since EA's recently gone on record bashing Gears--I will be holding this game up to that standard. Like I said in the main forum--EA may be the worst publisher in the world--but it doesn't mean they make the worst games. People are correct to be critical of them and their actions (specifically in Q&A and post release support, imo..and in destroying old IP and studios) but they do occationally make something worth playing.

Gears of War may be the only duck-and-cover gameplay I need--it borrows elements of games like Kill.Switch, GRAW, and even Resident Evil--but that doesn't stop it from being a great, great game. It's in the small detail--in how it all comes together.
i dont believe it......gow couldnt do that i doubt EA would have put the time in to do it.....those graphics are a lie....ill have to see it played right in front of me to believe

About the swearing and hitting, well I think its great. For example if you do something wrong and your partner does not aprove for example orders, or passing eachother mag clips for the weapons or not helping eachother out, of course your partner will be pissed at you. Its not exactly a child game, its as mature when it comes to words like Gears of War.

This is in-game alright, the engine is just that good. And that was why EA wasn't surprised with GoW when looking at the graphics. Well, if you Sony fanboys go complain that this isn't on 360.. then dream on, my friend.

Of course this in-game even a blind person would notice it. Beside its coming to PS3 and PC as well, but I dont care, because I know that I have 360 and I am sticking by it and it looks awesome.
This is real-time. You know what... this game is being developed by EA Montreal. Montreal... sounds familiar. Ubisoft Montreal eh? The fact is, EA Montreal is a developer which consists of developers that EA stole from Ubisoft Montreal, mainly the staffs of Splinter Cell 1.

I agree. Even if it is a pretty fun game, I don't want to have to sit through hours of them hitting each other and swearing just to be funny and edgy like a couple of 12 year olds when their parents aren't around. It's kind of offensive that they think this is what people want in a serious looking mature title
dude this bites ass! After all the screens and stuff you'd expect 2 hard-ass mercenaries who don't take shit from nobody, but hearing them in that trailer makes them look almost cartoonish.....
You guys need to lighten up a bit.. I think it's kinda funny the way they talk to each other. I could see grandpop not liking the humor but your average guy should definately see the funny.
