The third episode of the Assassin's Creed franchise may have been warmly welcomed in North America at launch, but we can't say it's our favorite one, quite the contrary in fact. At the time of its release, Blimblim pointed out the lack of charisma of its main character, but many people also regretted the poor architectural design of the urban areas, which was obviously a consequence of the decision to depict the US revolution. As a result, we can't say we are particularly excited by Assassin's Creed III Remastered, even less so as we have already witnessed quite a few bugs (NPCs walking backwards, completed mission objectives which still appear on screen after a game over while being told all we have to do is leave the area to finish the given assignment). As you'll see, the game has quite logically aged, though the Frontier still looks nice in the summer, but not only on the visual side. Playing ACIII again has made us realize how far Ubisoft has come with the series now and we prefer to advise you to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which indeed is a very good game.

We should all thank Ubisoft for giving us 30-60 minutes credits. It's a gift to bask in the glow of Ubisoft's games' credits. Specially when you can't skip it and there's additional scenes afterwards or you need to wait in order to save. Just glorious!
