Looks very pretty if a bit unoriginal since it looks like a mish-mash of Crysis, Halo and Gears of War stylistically. There's also the usual Ubisoft screen tear in there too which is disappointing to see if not altogether unsurprising since that is clearly the price for having such lush visuals in the first place. Still pretty though.
You do realize that the art style has nothing to do with the games you mentioned, and everything to do with the art direction of the actual film, right? It's unavoidable that if you have your setting in a jungle, then trees will look like trees etc etc, such is the world that Pandora is set in.
The game will be bad, that's just how it is. KotOR, Arkham Asylum, Riddick and Goldeneye were good because they were inspired concepts with movie IP's draped over the top.
This, however, is another movie IP with game ideas thrown at it. It might be an okay cashin game, but not worth buying unless you've played everything else already. You kids getting hyped for it are going to be dissapointed.
That said, the movie looks pretty bad too, which is disappointing because I'm a massive fan of James Cameron. I think he's finally succumbed to George Lucas syndrome, more money than imagination.
Agree with Fenrir. Another thing is the clipping in the game. A game with this kind on enviroments and vegetation should reflect that when characters run through it. Now they just run like there is no obstacles besides big trees. A minor detail, but other games pull it of.

CryEngine2? If it is, it doesn't look anything like it to me :P Personally, I think this looks pretty weak on all fronts. Shame on them if they really have been working on it for three years. I really hope the story is interesting and they keep you engaged with a clear sense of direction. Right now the gameplay looks extremely generic...
