would be better if it was the ACTUAL care out of Back to the Future that would be ace :D second you start the race, you go into the future to the end of the race to do it in a few seconds :D

I love Forza 3 but I find I can get really tired of it quickly, so I play it in short bursts. I think this might be partly because I feel I HAVE to win every race I enter; which is basically just about buying and tuning the right car. I then decided to up the difficult by turning off all assists and put it on manual. It changes the game quite a bit and makes it more interesting to play. But again I still feel kind of both overwhelmed and underwhelmed with what's there, and feel i have little direction in how to play it. I enjoy cars, but I am not any kind of automotive expert.

probably get this though

If i were to pick one i would go with Forza 3 over GT5 but hey, whatever floats your boat. This looks pretty nice though, the delorian DMC-12 is cool even though i hear it's not especially fast.

Oh my god, who shot KORNdog with a boulet?! Shots have been fired!

On topic: I loved Forza on Xbox, so I'm not sure why I never bothered to get Forza 3 especially after hearing the insane paint-jobs and community features Turn 10 put into the game. What I remember from Forza 1, it was immediately accessible for being a sim game with multiple options for n00bs.

I really like the system forza has for difficulty settings, what with the more help you remove the more credits you get and as such at least i get motivated to try and remove as much as possible and then practice to get good enough to remove even more :)

if the actual game looked like this it would be so good. racing game developers need to realize that jaggies is the biggest problem and everything must be done to get rid of them

They did get rid of the jaggies, and what you see here is how fast it runs ;)

But seriously, I'm sure they like them as much as you do.

Forza 3 is pretty smooth. You should realize that expecting a game to run at a high framerate with highly detailed visuals, some compromise has to be made. AA in Forza 3 compares VERY favorably to Forza 2, and pretty well to GT5.
@Korndog It's also a perfect example of how a good game can be ruined by archaic design, and downright lying about reasons for delays. It's also actually not selling anywhere near as well as it was supposed to be, and then there is the fact that the only good sales figures were in Europe. Pretty sure there are more people actually playing Need for Speed than GT5. It's more important in that it shows how desperately Japanese development needs to modernize before it dies. Everything but the core driving experience in that game is absolute garbage. As much as I would love to save GT5 is an important game because of it's quality and revolutionary ways, I cannot. It's an excellent sim with a whole lot of bullshit thrown on top. If you could strip away all of the menus, put in some ugly, simple ass menus that got me where I wanted to be without pausing, hanging up, just to tell me the fucking time and date is wrong on my machine, and if they got rid of all the fluff like rally racing (which was pretty poorly simulated), and focused on making what they did being really good, then yes, it would be a game that was worth anything but people who play little else beyond sims, and showing Japanese developers to get over themselves and realize that they need to do things differently.

FM3, hmmz.. I was really looking forward to that game before release, but when I found out after release the game's online was seriously screwed up by removing public custom lobbies and replacing them with some stupid very limited hopper system I was seriously dissapointed.. So much I played it for a few weeks in SP, but after a while got bored so I never played it anymore.. A shame really as it's a very good game.. I seriously hope they'll put public custom lobbies back in FM4, otherwise I won't even buy it..

Awesome cars.

Still, the DLCs are a rip off and I won't buy a single one of them.
I just hope that we will see many of this "new" cars in the shipping version of FM4.

Has anyone counted the number of manufacturers in this game? Pretty impressive...

Great DLC, awesome cars. At least we can't complain about the lack of new content. And T10 DLC hardly comes off as rip-offs. For what is worth I think it's fairly cheap if you like the cars included. Any generic DLC for most games comes out at 800 MSP and even Activision sells 4 new maps for 1200MSP. If you're a fan of the game and like the cars, 400MSP it's a good deal.

It's not like we're paying for "standard" cars, right ? These are all "premium".

Considering that the game itself contained about 300 cars and costed 60€, I'd still say that this is very expensive. EVERY DLC is way overprized and sheer milking. Well at least T10 allways gives us one car for free with each new DLC.

I have to admit that buying this one is still tempting, since the choice of cars is superb. Some of my favorites in there...
