To see Batman: Arkham City come out of the shadows is always something to get excited about and it is no different today with these new images of the game. As usual, very promising.

Got its work cut out, first game had it easy due to been such a huge sleeper hit.

Lets hope Arkham City is to Arkham Asylum, as the The Dark Knight was to Batman Begins, ie the best, made somehow even better.

Same developers, same team..it's gonna rock! Beautiful thing is that...they don't dilute the material, the game is made for fans of batman! can't wait

Not everyone is of the opinion that The Dark Knight is a better film. The set pieces are great, but structurally it is actually pretty poor. A fair few elements of the narrative are frustrating too.

i agree. aside from the joker, i thought the first was a WAY better film.

Batman Begins is the better movie yes, but that does not take the fact away that Dk is a shit hot flick (The movie itself is overhyped yes, but Heaths performance was insanly shit hot)

exactly. it all fell on heath, take him out of the equation and i'm sure it wouldnt have faired anywhere near as well. it just doesnt have the structure of batman begins. the best element outside of the joker was dent/twoface and he was painfully underused. but that was the case with a lot of these sort of summer blockbuster popcorn flicks. the "origin" story typically outshines what comes after it (iron man, transformers, spider-man, x-men etc etc)

Begins was decent, Dark Knight was fantastic. This will be fantastic as well, I've no doubts about that.

I'm skeptical. Arkham Asylum was NEAR perfect (Titan bosses overused), but with it being a city, they can have dozens of gameplay surprises if they're directly lifting off No Man's Land arc.

Here's hoping they'll change Harley's voice actress. She is probably supposed to sound like this, but damn she was annoying in first game...

At least it looks as good as Arkham Asylum. I can't wait to see some gameplay! I'm glad I finished Arkham Asylum already.

@Logahn, I liked Harley's voice, I always have. It's the same voice actress who voiced her in the original animated series from the 90's.
