Trailer PC Wii U Xbox 360 PS3

Although it was announced to be a CG video, the first trailer of Batman: Arkham Origins was highly anticipated by the fans of the dark knight. Here it is in Gamersyde quality along with a bunch of new images of the game. Good news, Deathstroke will be playable but as usual only those who will preorder the game will have early access to the pack.

Loved the trailer!

Great detail, Deathstroke surprised me with his nice acrobatical mobility which I hope they bring to gameplay, nice environment too.

Yeah if gameplay is anything like AC, I am hyped.

I was expecting Batman to use a more..."mundane" batsuit. You know, Origins and all that. But it almost looks like he's wearing the armor from the Armored Edition.

But that Joker screen is simply awesome and terrifiying

CGi looks great. I would love to see a CGi Batman TV series.

Though I would ask for a different art style.

Still I don't think I like the suit much. It seems like they trying to make it similar to the films & I just don't really like the military armored suits on batman.

I like Nolan's suit design the best since i am against bulky designs and tights.

This one is a bit on the bulky side, but I prefer this one over the previous designs of Arkham games, but thats just me. I am sure there will be DLC skins (hopefully unlockables so we dont have to wait for DLC).

I loooved the suits in previous Arkham games...best ones in my opinion. Nolan's wasn't necessarily bulky, but the mobility was horrible. I can't stand a Batman who can't turn his head.

But in real, armored suits are hard to move in, so I personally dont compare games/animation to movies its very different.
In games and animation you can have a bulky armor and do all sorts of movement, like if Gears of War movie happens dont expect characters to keep rolling or sprinting alot.

General Zod suit in Man of Steel is in CGI that Michael shannons said in a interview since they wanted Zod to be as mobile in fighting and comfortable as possible, same goes to Iron Man, they are CGI, they dont wear the real stuff since its hard.

Look how the mask of Batman looks like and what is made of so its hard for such.

But in movies, the armored suits aren't REAL armor, so it's not really a valid argument for me. I'd rather it look real and move unrealistically...which is certainly doable in a movie.

Well they are combat suits arent they? The word suit even is used to metal armor as well like for Iron Man.
But since its the games i talk about, I prefer Nolan's designs and its concept better since its light and sleek looking with some "armor" shapes on it, thats just me.

I'm not sure why that matters? I just think Batman should be able to turn his head and not look like a wooden mannequin when he fights. I'm sure they could figure something out.

And Arkham City's suit was lighter and sleeker than Nolan's, but I suppose it resembled tights too much for your liking?

Well in the movie i agree, his head was stiff, he had to turn his entire upper body to look around the parts the mask wouldnt allow, not good.

But I dont agree that AC was slimer design than Nolan's designs, and yes tights...i hate it lol

AC suit was definitely a sleeker design. It's just that batman himself was a muscle bound, bowling ball shouldered freak of nature.

This must be Blur Studios, right? How are they not making movies yet?

Get rid of all the Hollywood crap, because this is what superhero movies should look like.

Batman's armor design reminds me more of Dredd's combat armor seen in the film than the Batman suit seen in Nolan's films. The clasps holding everything on, and the front body vest. It looks more practical than the slightly fetishist rubber suits we're used to seeing, and I like that.

Precisely! Though I was perfectly okay with his build. He wasn't unreasonably big, he was pretty proportional, his enemies were a similar size, and he was a similar size in the comics on occasion.

I loved how the characters moved in this trailer. Things didn't look over-the-top, but any acrobatic stuff still seemed badass. There was a nice weight to everything as well.
