EA shows some gameplay of Ziba Tower, one of the four maps from Battlefield 3's next DLC Close Quarters, plus 6 screenshots. The content will be available to download in June.

Well, that makes sense, considering. A lot of this direction started in Bad Company 2. Smaller, infantry focused maps got their start there. Squad DM/Rush, too.
I keep hearing that we may get another game mode in this (note: may be total NeoGAF misinformation). Am I completely crazy for wanting a pure CS plant and defend, single elimination mode? Yeah.. I know.. sooo not battlefield :D
FEAR COMBAT BRO!! The game was so innovative!! And it's free to play, AMAZING GAME. Even Killzone 3 gunplay (destruction aesthetics) are borrowed from FEAR .
It was only TDM when it was first announced because of the player size but apparently going by that below it's open to all gameplay modes. No idea how your going to play Rush on that Tower map? Rushing down the stairs perhaps lol!
With no vehicles or large open expanses, these maps will be popular Team Deathmatch destinations, but Bach says all four maps support every pre-existing gameplay mode, plus a brand new one the studio isn't revealing just yet. To keep these more intimate encounters from feeling overcrowded, DICE is also dropping the player count. Sorry PC players, but there are no 64-player matches in this expansion pack.
I'm betting new mode will be CS style bomb defusal.

Why? Think COD "Domination" on like.. any COD map. TDM layouts are also different.. there could still be more level than the minimap you're seeing in the video (though I sorta doubt it on this one).
I guess you can't play objectives in CS Office either?
This map makes me glad they're improving the flak perk, and also for no-explosives (and auto shotgun) servers on the PC :D
I want to see the rest of the map pack. I'm hoping that the others will at least offer a few more open areas. Someone just compared this to Nuketown, which has me running for the hills. And that horrible map was super popular. What is it with people loving the shit out of the worst levels and configs in any particular game?

It was never TDM only. It was TDM only in the freak-out-lets-assume-the-worst response from all the fans of freaking out and assuming the worst.
Only going by the Official Forum and tbh from what i originally seen it did indeed look like it was TDM only. I mean how the hell are they going to implement Rush into that map? Crazy, should be fun when this hits Origin though and let's see how many of the naysayers buy it lol!
