As promised Electronic Arts released the first full gameplay video of Battlefield 3, named Faultline episode 1. And as expected, it's highly impressive. The video is currently from the game's official site and so not as high quality as usual, but you can count on us for a high quality version, hopefully even 1080p as soon as possible.
Update 2: HQ version is up (1080p).

Thanks for the HD video.

Where is the creativity in artstyle.
Its like Crysis 2, we have seen NY so many times in other stuff that it is sickening to see it again, with such a engine like Cryengine 3 it could have been much better.
No doubt that BF3 looks fantastic, but again, wasted on a modern setting that is uninspired.
I would have definitely been hyped if they went with the futuristic direction they once did, what made them go back is confusing.
Ah well, fans will eat it up, for MP alone :)

From vehicles design/purpose, to how the settings looks like, each map be completely unique, how the weapons looks/sounds/animates or even do (example is Resistance)...etc.
I am sure if Dice wanted to do something, they are talented enough to do so.
But they have been doing so much modern that I dont think they will even bother, except that futuristic BF.

more real and sound effects.
Good atmosphere !
