EA and DICE have released a new trailer of Battlefield 3 that shows the game's Physical Warfare Pack. This pack is a pre-order bonus and contains: the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun, Type 88 Light Machine Gun, flechette ammo for the DAO-12, and a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle. All of these items will be released for everyone at a later date and free of charge.

Graphics are just stunning. Gameplay is hard to tell from this trailer.
hellz yea
let's just hope the SP Campaign is something to look forward to as well - i feel like these games are made for MP first (not that that's bad) but a good balance would be nice ... i hear good things about CoOp to although 6 missions sound kind of short (more would be nice)
I hope there is some kind of counter measure for that flash suppressor, because I can see that being spammed, which could become ridiculous seeing that it belongs to the sniper class, a class in itself that is extremely annoying when everyone playing thinks they are an elite sniper.
ok don't buy it just rent it! ;P
Plus there is no stopping the COD juggernaut. It's a futile endevour. COD will still sell a gazillion copies, even if it's mechanics, setting and gameplay are as tired as they are.
BTW The sound is great in this trailer.

-Polished graphics tech: The game runs on both consoles at a rock steady 60fps, has phenomenal graphics and nary a visual glitch.
-Code base is polished: I've hardly encountered any bugs online or off.
-Polished design: Best FPS feel in the biz (cannot be overstated), efficient menus, fantastic leveling system, a thoroughly consistent experience, and balanced weapons.
-Polished Network code: Lag is hardly ever perceived because of the great netcode and even though it's providing very responsive feedback regardless of lag it hardly ever feels unfair.
The level of polish is especially apparent when you play something like Battlefield Bad Company 2, which is a great game that I love but it's simply lacking that polish many areas: menus aren't great, feel is slightly clunky, graphics are slightly glitchy and frame output is inconsistent, maps are inconsistent in terms of quality, animations are stiff, and the game just seems to lack the focus and tightness of something like MW2.

The games are FULL of issues. Tons of bugs and exploits
Best FPS in the biz...lol, no. Far too many problems with the games to hold that title, sorry. It's popular. But that's about as far as it goes. People ignore the issues when it's litterally the ONLY game prople play online.
even the network code has problems, sometimes with full, match wide lag or just player specific. And the less said about being matchmade into losing teams at the end of the game, the better.
Granted i was playing the 360 version. So the PC version probably is free from the problems the game blatantly has. But as far as COD and polish is concerned. I simply dont think it's true at all. HALO does all of that stuff much, MUCH better imo. COD isnt even a consideration.
