But yes.. probably the final month. The open beta is more of a stress test.
I just remember that ALOT of patches followed the next couple of months. Hopefully this one's abit more polished before release.
And hopefully the beta's not one crappy corridor map like BF3's was. Be nice if it was a big open one. I think the pc beta had more than metro though right? another map was added later?
As far as frequent patches go. I wish they were more frequent. They made us wait until your patches were certified. It really slowed down the process of refining the games balance.
The beta is likely going to be very similar to the E3 build. I expect it to be Shanghai again.
I am unsure as to whether to get it for 360 or save it for when I ultimately get a next-gen machine.

I don't know if it's even possible to track the latency of each client on a server, but you can't really compare the stats of a player that has an avg ping of 50 with one that plays with an avg of 200 ms.
For example (and in my opinion), a player with 150 ms avg ping and a 2.0 K/D ratio is more skilled than a player who has a 3.0 K/D and an avg ping of 50. So, in a sense, the lack of this data (avg ping) kind of defeats one of the main purposes of these sites/stats trackers.

In any game playing with latency isn't doing anything but stripping the predictability away from the game. Learning to play well at a high latency isn't really the same set of skills as simply playing the game well. And it's detrimental to all other players. The days where low pingers had an unfair advantage are long, long gone. In those days we were all on dial-up except for a few "low ping bastards." The role latency on the player population has virtually reversed itself.
Win/Loss ratio compared to quit percentage, compared to weapons used and accuracy, compared to KDR, etc. You can get a "whole picture" of a players performance pretty easily by looking at all of the numbers.
I'm just kidding. But on a serious note, I guess that many people play with bad ping. It's probably a non-issue to some of you guys - that lives in EU or NA - but for the rest of the world, it kinda is.
And it's not only about internet speed; a country's internet infrastructure and the physical distance to the servers plays a big role too. Just to give an example (mine, haha!), my average ping to NA's PSN servers is 250-275 ms, with an 15 mb internet "speed".
But I digress. The point of my original post was just to highlight that making the avg ping "stat" available (if possible, of course), would improve battlelog.
I obsess over my stats. All of them. I would hate to see it go personally.
