The demo surprised me, I chose both the girls for my team, soon after they ask why and I say because they are girls, one responds you sleeze the other appreciates the honesty. It's a small thing but it makes even the little things seem consequential and if it works for Mass Effect why not others.

Visually the lighting engine is a bit weak and it's a hair or two less defined than I'd like (I assume it's running at 720p but seems slightly below).

Overall I was impressed it handled well for a TPS and even moreso considering that it's made by JAP devs and the voice acting straddle the line of melodramatic but overall manage to not detract.

I don't know about Day 1 but based on the demo I'll buy it 1 day.

I agree, I was surprised how the dialogues and the battles turned out when I chose different teams and chose different responses on the dialogues.

I was shocked, I actually wrote this game off, but the demo changed my mind, might not be a day one purchase... well maybe... either way I am interested in getting this if the reviews don't totally slaughter it.

Stage 2 in the PS3 demo is absolutely unplayable lol. If it ships out in that state, people will be pissed.

I really liked the squad morale stuff, even though you can tell how it works. Don't do one command, then that person will be giving "negative". Enemy spawns were way too much on the subway, didn't make for fun encounters.

The dismemberment and particle physics are excellent, that's the best part. They've finally figured out how to make fighting robots satisfying when compared to humans with all the gibs and the blood.

Had a feeling this would be good and, based on the demo, I feel as though I'm right. Particularly love the story and the potential that it holds - the gameplay holds up well enough, nothing spectacular but it does the job.

Like others I don't think I'll pick it up on day one, but will at some point for sure.
