In this second part of the retro documentary Columbia, a Modern Day Icarus?, Alistar Bloom goes farther into the mysteries of the floating city as he talks about the Songbird and its connection to the enigmatic "Lamb of Columbia". BioShock Infinite is coming on March 26.

The gameplay they have shown just seems really... boring.

Yes its a game and yes its has it charms. But if anything the games of last few years are the prime example of uninspiring milker y of a gaming franchise.

And a franchise that does things different and uses many different aspects(good story telling, atmosphere etc) being called boring is imo bullshit.

So thats why i used it as an example. And it was more then appropriate.

Story telling looks alright, if you want another Ken Levine yarn, which I don't have that much interest in. Atmosphere looks decent I guess, but it's not captivating me.

The most uninspiring thing is the game play, bar the gimmicks, it looks pretty straight forward to say the least.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't a good game, but I have pretty much no interest in it.

To be fair ir looks A LOT like Bio shock, which was A LOT like system shock. So i don't know if this particular series of games is all that innovative within it's own confines. Sure it's not a military shooter, but they are on the fourth iteration of the same model, so in a sense it's not all that creative. And isn't atmosphere and storytelling rather subjective? Not that i like CoD much, but how is that a counter argument against your your view of this game?

So what's the next step? Anyone who doesn't like the sublime simulation of Europa Universalis is a CoD-tard? :P
