So, what is this game exactly? Is it an actual football game, or is it more like a boardgame? It's hard to tell from the trailers, and I hadn't heard of it before.
It's both. Blood Bowl is a "Table Top" boardgame featuring a american footballish game with the fans, or rather, hooligans from proper football. The game is set in an alternate version of the Warhammer universe which allows for different teams of a wide variaty of races/factions and abilities. It's also chuck full of violence! You play using dice(it's not without skill before you ask!) and little models or miniatures to represent the teams.
Now this developer, Cyanide I think, is making a game based on this GW game, including building your teams as in the TT version.
I have seen screenshots presumably they are ingame, but I have not seen an actual gameplay trailer yet. I play Blood Bowl from time to time so I am interested in this title.
This is an awsome board game that is football with lots of beating the crap out of your opponent in the process. It is one of the funnest boardgames i have ever played. In our local game store they just recently started a tournament on this game.
