I've spent quite a big part of my week-end playing Blue Dragon and I can now say that it's been a long time since I've had so much fun with a game. Blue Dragon is an almost perfect mix of eyes and ears pleasure (see video), typical Toriyama silliness (see other video) and of course deep but accessible gameplay. I just can't wait to get out of work so I can go back to the world created by Toriyama and Sakaguchi.

thanks for all the quick updates with the game, Blim! I seriously can not wait till this game hits the states. I'm going to be waiting outside my local EB before the store opens, when this comes out. They're going to learn to hate me. They thought I stalked them with endless phonecalls when KH2 and GOW hit, oman, they have no idea what they're in for.

This game is getting pre-ordered the first day I can pre-order it for the usa. Of course this amazing world wouldn't be quite complete without Uematsu's musical talents :)

My god. The game just keeps getting better and better with all these videos I am seeing and patience is running really low. I really want to know the exact release date please Microsoft!!!

I dont think it will but I think Microsoft should just release the game at the same time in europe/US ... they better do it!

I haven't been excited about turn-based games in a while, but this game has really peaked my interest. I love the user interface, how clean and sleek the design is.

Does anyone have a guess at how long it will take to get to the US? I mean, it's already out in japan and is there normaly a set number of days it takes to translate and work on the other region versions right?

Should we expect the game in Q2 '07?

and don't forget us aussies...i wasn't sold on this game, with turnbased fighting and all, until these vids you've posted...it just looks like so much fun to play and really beautiful to look at. I looked today at an australian site today, and not only does it not have a release date, but the game isn't even listed yet, bummer.

Just a quick question...when you are walking about, can you walk around with the other people in your party, or do you have to join up?

most MS games that get released in the USA are region free. I think perfect dark and kameo are the ones that where not region free. But the rest where.

thank god the music is better in the "A beautiful game" video, really nice, alot better than the horrible fight music and twinkly stuff, graphically it doesn't look anything amazing, nice enough, but its art style is good

I really like the battle theme "Eternity", it is quite original from the basic battle music then what we used to hear from other RPGs. Of course it is not the "One winged Angel", but it adds something new to the RPGs boss battle.
And it has a good beat to it, if you can spare the singer's voice :).

It looks amazing for the art style, i never seen a cartoonish style being brought into 3D models (character, environement,etc.) this good. See it as a Toriyama masterpiece is 3D.

I say, we should spam MS with e-mails for the release date :p.

Well, if you feel that way you should go grab a japanese 360, that would solve your problem. It's not all Microsoft's fault though, Mistwalker is still working on the other versions of the game.
