Trailer Xbox 360 PS3

Bizarre Creations released another trailer for Blur, their PGR meets Mario Kart title. The game should be released during the first quarter of 2010 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

"their PGR meets Mario Kart title" lol

Hardly a PGR if you ask me. This is more like a cross over between need for Speed and Burnout with, like you said, a bit of Mario Kart thrown in.

Wait and see, me says.

Bizarre Creations being the makers of the PGR franchise, Blur including real car models and city tracks, I think it's fair to say that there is a bit of PGR in the game, even if it's definitely not the same type of game. ;)

The game really doesn't play like a PGR title, so you're right in that respect. But, well, it made more sense to me to mention PGR when it's a Bizarre Creations game. ^^

I can't believe they are putting a story into this.

Unless of course the cutscenes all involve your character dropping a shitload of hallucinogenic drugs before starting a race.

As a HUGE fan of the PGR games, it still hurts to see any new media for this game, as for me it's nothing more than a painful reminder that PGR is no more. WHHYYY??????????!!!!!!!!! *falls to knees throwing hands in the air*

I hope the game succeeds. It could be a breath of fresh air for the gamers who once enjoyed the quarter munching arcade racers of the 90s and Mario Kart's funfactor. This title has great visuals and the over the top gameplay should be fun when playing online against your friends. This is the type of game that's meant for Xbox Live. It's the perfect community for it. Kudos to Bizzare for attempting something new. Racing's supposed to be fun. I love the eyecandy of Forza and Gran Turismo, but the games aren't for everyone.

It's just weird. I don't get the real cars with funky, fantasy power-ups. Maybe the cutscenes will explain it, but I'd much rather see something along the lines of Wipeout or Cyber speedway( if you can remember this one- Cool points to you!)...

I'm so glad there's going to be a racer out there soon doing something different. I love arcade type of racing games and love Mario Kart. I'm so glad there's a mixture of both, and with 4 player split screen!

OH man! Mentioning Cyber Speedway made me go look up some youtube vids, and all I can say is NNNNNOOOOSSSSTTTAAAALLLGGGIIIAAA!!! Ha! I used to have SO much fun with that game. I remember me and my brothers made this rig with fans blowing on you and stuff. Good times. I remember letting my sisters play, and whenever they flew over the water, my brothers and I would give 'em the rasberry! LoL. Ah....

Hating the look of the power-ups. They all look the same. Only the color is different.

it looks more appealing then something like GT or forza imo (ie - FUN), but i still think split/second looks a lot more interesting.

They've always had a knack for slick trailers, and this one is no different.

For them to use realistic looking cars and environments in an arcade racer, it really shows an extreme lack of imagination. Not interested one bit

Yup which is kind of my point, a next gen fur fighters would be great, but I doubt it would sell much.
