Brigador hits Early Access on Oct. 16

Fully destructible environments, several mechs, tanks, antigrav vehicles and weapons, 90s atmosphere and a score from Makeup and Vanity (sample here), this is what the isometric action game Brigador offers. It will hit Steam Early Access on Oct. 16 with 6 playable vehicles, 18 weapons, and 9 playable levels. Screens and trailer inside.

I'm intrigued by the graphics, they look oldschool and modern at the same time. My guess is that the environments are 2D tiles with normalmaps and possibly other parameter maps, to support deferred shading, because the many little lights interact realistically with those 2D backgrounds, just look at the headlights of the vehicles shining onto "2D" tiles. Very clever, not sure if I've ever seen anything similar.
