MP seems to be like Killzone 2/3, with the shitty disguise ability being there and engineer turret creation.
I am interested in this game but there are 3 things I hate about it.

1. The weapon bobbing is way too exagerated and too distracting.
2. character art is ugly (though love that we can customize them in a deep way, probably find something good enough).
3. Operative class has "disguise" ability. Nothing rages me more about cloak and disguise in MP games, I hated it in Killzone 2, I will hate it in any game.
I want to see my enemies in plain sight, I dont want cloaked enemies to sit there and camp or have infiltrators disguise as teamplayer and get close enough, by the time you think its the enemy you are dead.

Other than that, I like what I am seeing here.
Nice weapon weight and impact, cool and agile movement to get around the environment a bit easier, and above all its teambased MP which is always nice.

I hope there is a demo before release.

Spies and engis predate Killzone. I don't know how well or how poorly they're implemented into KZ but Spies are awesome in Team Fortress. Spy checking isn't that hard.

I too would like a demo. I'm 99% sold but I would love to try it first.

I think you mean Team Fortress

Also I think the art is great. Reminds me of Timesplitters!

Have faith that the system will be balanced

EDIT: Grift beats me by seconds

I havent played Team Fortress, but in Killzone engineers are pretty basic.
You get a repair tool that you can fix turrets and ammocrates and the second ability is to spawn in turrets pretty much anwhere.

Infiltrator has disguise.
You disguise yourself as enemy character and take random name and then you wont be noticed (if you unlock level 3 disguise) through melee kills or from turrets/drones.
The other team can notice you if the infiltrator is too close to you, they will get a red crosshair/name but its hard because by the time you are close enough to confront them they will kill you.
The other way is no dot on the radar and thats a annoying way to spot them, makes you look away from the enemy which you shouldnt do that.

I just hate MP games were I cant see my enemies in plain sight when they are infront of me, disguise and cloaks.

Yeah, it's just someone's job to be spy checking. TF2 is fantastic.

Like I said in Killzone thread, shoot atleast 2-5 shots if you see a alone teamplayer coming, if they react, spray and kill hehe.
Though the disguise takes 1-2 seconds to wear off once the ability is deactivated so it takes a bit of time to truly know their proper identity.

In Killzone 2 it was easier to spot them sometimes.
Infiltrator's could only have the default soldier class look with random name, sometimes they were actual on your team and not the enemy.
In Killzone 3 they will take the role of any random character design and name so its much harder and annoying to spot them.

But I learned one thing, the Infiltrator's are usually not in groups nor are they as hostile at the other team.
They sometimes come out of an area with bunch of enemy groups and coming towards you which is "odd" lol.

There are ways, but you have to be so damn careful, safest bet is to shoot a few bullets or hope the red chrosshair/name shows up in time.

I do hope there is a better way of finding out the ones who disguise in Brink, should be interesting.

was hyped for this when it was first shown. More i see of it lately though the less i'm convinced the actual games gonna be any good. I really cant see the SP/Multiplayer coming together as good as say left 4 dead, or boardlands. I'm still not sure what it has to offer that wont make it quite limiting..

I looks great and its also looks kinda cell shaded at some angles but not a prob. Im not a big graphical whore, I just like for my games to be captivating and just all around fun and this seems like it could be that way with the multiplayer and coop stuff.
