New screenshots of Call of Cthulhu

The disturbing and horrifying locales of Darkwater are depicted in these new Call of Cthulhu screenshots. The RPG/Investigation game from Focus and Cyanide will put you in the shoes of war veteran turned PI Edward Pierce who has been hired to look into the tragic death of the Hawkins family. The game is still set to release in 2017 for PC and consoles.

Looks nice, but i'm always a little worried about the theme of Cthulhu and how to make it in to a good game. Will be interesting to see more though for sure :)

Well, it doesn't look like a AAA game but i think it's passable. The art and lighting looks good though :)

It reminds me of Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth, one of the best games I have ever played, and that is a very very good sign. I always prefer good art to more pixels.

xbox version was good, pc version was a freakin' buggy mess.

Xbox version was also a buggy mess, i at least got a game breaking bug. Obviously not as bad as the PC version that is impossible to finish without the fan patch ofc.

Cool game but also lacking in many ways. Charming in it's own way, especially like the first half of it. But i don't know if i can honestly call it a great game :P

You can actually finish it without the fan patch but yes, PC version was very buggy. Xbox version was fine, though, I have replayed it multiple times and I never found any game breaking bug that I can remember. As for the game itself, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest games ever made: great story, atmosphere, setting, gameplay, everything about it was fantastic but I agree that not everyone will see it that same way, at all.
