This will probably be as terrible as the movie will certainly be

Why is the moving going to be certainly terrible again?

I guess it is directed by the dude who did Jurassic Park 3. That's not exactly pedigree to be proud of.

Mainly because Captain America is a lame Marvel Superhero (I equate him to Cyclops)
Most of the Avengers are in fact. Thor is okay because of the mythology, but otherwise they're mostly a snooze

I think Iron Man is the only marketable character of the bunch because he's actually got an interesting personality.

The movie just looks awful regardless of my hero bias anyhow

Captain America is much, much cooler than Marvel's Thor. The first trailer for Captain America didn't strike me as awful either.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Ant Man turns out, since Joe Cornish, Edgar Wright, Steven Moffat are writing it, and Edgar Wright is directing. How can that not be awesome?

I'm not expecting any of them to be good. Like...good the way X2 was good. I do think they'll be fun to watch though, and as long as they aren't Elektra bad, I'll be happy. Plus, Chris Evans ftw.

I dunno, maybe recent Cap has gotten better, but I prefer Thor.

I thought Jurassic Park 3 was pretty cool except that the ending wasn't that great. Plus you have to remember that the script was being written as they went along for that movie and there wasn't a Jurassic Park 3 book to base it on. Of more relevance to Captain America though is that Joe Johnston directed The Rocketeer and although I haven't seen it for years I seem to remember that was a cool movie too.

Fantastic Four ruined Chris Evans for me.

Everything quick from Marvel now seems to be looking to cash in on the Iron Man formula

The new X-Men looks good, and I am hoping Spider-man pulls through too as they're both some of my favorite comics from my childhood

Ant Man is pretty cool I'll admit. If he is in the new Avengers his role will probably be that really cool character that they just never focus enough on.

That's a negative way of looking at it. I prefer to say that Chris Evans made Fantastic Four mildly watchable. That and the Silver Surfer in the second one.
