Here I am back from Tokyo, and despite the rather nasty jetlag I managed to capture some footage from the for the moment exclusive to EU PSN+ demo of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Update: Added the second and last part of the demo.
What about the poor framerate, seriously? Seeing to run with 22-24fps all the time is really disappointing. :(
Should try 360 version before decide which one to get. Hope things are little better there.
Wonder how much Sony paid for Konami to reduce the audience for this demo from everyone down to less than 0.1%.
That aside, this looks gorgeous but also like yet another mindless God of War clone. I hope there's more to this than button mashing.
Also the sound mix is way off, - the voice actors (none of whom sound like they give a damn) are all crystal clear while the background audio is way, way too quiet. They just don't sound like they're in the scene.

Did you watch the stream or actually download the video because the framerate looked fine to me...pretty smooth and consistent.

Meh. Making a mountain out of a mole hill. If you hadn't seen that FPS analysis, I'm sure you wouldn't be worried about this.
Don't think so. After all 60fps games from this genre, performance for this is disappointing indeed. :)
No. I'm saying if there weren't a framerate analysis you wouldn't be worried because you wouldn't know the framerate unless massive framerate drops occurred. Ignorance is bliss.

So you're saying you can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 at all? Sub 30fps performance is really approaching unacceptable. It doesn't take digital foundry to figure that out for you.

Ok, let's try to make it clear: PS3 is the lead platform. This means that the game will look/run equally or better on the PS3.

Even so, XBL Gold has the advantage even on 28th to get it day 1 while Silver don't and need to wait 1 week while on PSN everyone has full access on 28th.
