Back when Chernobylite left Early Access and was finally released on PC, we proposed a bunch of videos of the game. Then, we were also present for the console launch on old gen machines, but we still had to show you the current gen update. Good news, it's finally available and we've taken the time to record some gameplay footage on Playstation 5 so you can see the two graphics modes in action. Performance mode obviously favorizes framerate as the game runs at 60 frames per second but resolution is limited to 1080p. In this configuration, the graphics are however the equivalent to the ultra settings on PC from what we've been told. The other option is unsurprisingly the Resolution mode where te game targets 4K (resolution is dynamic though) but framerate doesn't go above 30 fps.
Note: The freeze you see at some point in the video is due to capture, it's not the game.

See, the downloads of videos is quite a unique feature at Gamersyde and sets them apart from the competition. With the downloads we can choose less compression artefacts compared to streams. One of the things I appreciate very much at Gamersyde :)
Never underestimate your community ;)

Don't worry though, it's not meant to become a habit, except for a few rare occasions, we'll always propose the downloadable version of our videos! Sorry it was not the case this time.
Also, to get the downloadable file with them, you must support them via Patreon, so they have the money to afford it. :D
And Gamersyded definitely deserves lots of kudos for doing so :D
